Kate grew up on the Hawkesbury River in NSW, Australia which fostered her respect and awe of Australian landscapes. She worked as a radio journalist and story producer for ABC and CBC Radio for a decade before a fascination with the complexity of collecting agencies attracted her attention. She has, since 2010, been managing a range of diverse projects and teams aligning new ideas with old objects. Kate also works as a freelance writer and produces an award winning podcast. In her spare time Kate wrangles a toddler, plays music and swims in the ocean.
